Magnum, P.I was premiered December 11, 1980. Starring Tom Selleck as Thomas Magnum a former naval intelligence officer, resigned to his commission to become a private investigator on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Magnum, P.I is an action, comedy and drama series. Magnum was often aided in his investigations, usually unwillingly, by two of his fellow vets—Marines Theodore "T.C." Calvin (Roger E. Mosley) and Orville "Rick" Wright (Larry Manetti).
